History

Founded in February 10, 1975 under the name Indutora – Instaladora Elétrica Madeirense Lda., by its two partners José Carlos Nunes Rodrigues and José Tiago da Paixão, at Rua da Figueira Preta 6, Funchal. The company opened up to the commercial sector, providing the consumer with a selection of products from international brands, such as Siemens and Bosch.

Industrial Park

In the 1980s, Indutora invested in a manufacturing unit for electric panels and lighting columns at the parish of Monte, Funchal, aiming to meet the needs of the regional market. Already at that time, the company was pioneer in the process of galvanising metallic structures. Today the company has a technological centre with modern equipment at the P.E.Z.O.

Expansion

Indutora has established partnerships with regional, national and international entrepreneurs, aiming to develop its activity in the supply, assembly, and commercialisation of electrical installations and equipment. The company was present in Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and Venezuela. It manufactured electrical panels for the United Kingdom, Italy, Romania and exported material to Cyprus and the Netherlands.

Indutora Energia

Over the last decade, the company has undergone a restructuring process which gave way to Indutora Energy Unipessoal, Lda. and centralised all its areas of activity in the Westside Business Park at the P.E.Z.O lot 15, Câmara de Lobos. To this day, Indutora Energia carries out its activity under the premiss of doing more and better, allowing for the conquest of new market shares through acquired know-how and strategic alliances.
